Can I put older heads (492's) on a 1989 L98?

Car: 1979 Camaro Sport Coupe
Engine: 350 LM1 with 083 2.02/1.60 heads
Transmission: TH350, soon to be 2004R
Axle/Gears: 2.41, soon to be 3.42
Can I put older heads (492's) on a 1989 L98?
I was replying to a post about 416's vs 083's and while talking about 041x's I remembered that I have a set of unmolested 2.02"/1.60" 492's that just need to be cleaned up and rebuilt. Could I put these on my 1989 L98 without trouble?
