Braided hose

What is a good way to cut braided hose?

The company I can get it from will not cut it and only sells it in pre-cut lengths....

Wrap electrical tape around where you want to cut and go at it with hack saw with a fine toothed blade.

i'd replace the hacksaw with a bandsaw if you can. cuts back on the back and forth that might rag it out. Not sure how to make the end look finished though. I guess a crimp on thing

After taping the area to be cut I use an air powered cutoff tool (the kind with a little 3 inch fiber metal cutting wheel). It leaves the cleanest cut and is fast
