Checking L98 injectors?
I have read on here that when you OHM the injectors they should be from like 15-17 Ohms, and well I went and checked mine today, And I am only getting 2.4 ohms within .1 of each other. Now I am not to firmiliar with my Ohm meter, so here is a pic of the setting I have it on. Oh and in another thread I posted my engine has like a lean pop it idles ok, kind of misses and when you get on it it pops, backfires sorta. I had a few people say it's a lean miss. I havnt had a chance to check the plugs either, or Fuel pressure. But anyways here is a pic of the ohm meter on the setting I was using and got 2.4 ohms.

Re: Checking L98 injectors?
I believe you are on the right setting, if your injectors are original I would not be suprised if they were bad. I already had to change mine. I think mine read like 7.2 or something close but I have heard of them being that low. Grab some SVO Ford injectors and a day off and you should be set. This did not fix my rough idle and low rpm hesitation though. Watch out for creating vacuum leaks too.

Are you removing the wire clip from the wiring harness when you check the injectors?

yes ... TPI is batch fire so even if you get the injector wires on the wrong injector it will still run! ... You have to ohm them without them connected to the harness.

Then you are also measuring everything in that electrical circuit including that injector. You need to ohm the injectors separately. That means removing the clip and measuring across each injector.

Re: Checking L98 injectors?
you push in on the wire thing and pull on the plug and it will release.
