I need help with Ignition upgrade

For my first big mod im doin to the truck is the ignition. I was thinking about getting a complete MSD ignition, distributor, coil, wires, igniton box (6A). I know this is what i want to do but are these good parts to be getting??

There's nothing wrong with MSD. If you've got a stick think about getting a 6al w/ rev limiter in case you miss a shift. I wouldn't bother with the distributor though...I put a mallory on my IROC and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever (but I got it free so I didn't care).

That's what I've got in my car and happy as hell with it, but why do you need the 6A?
