passing vacuum from the EGR solenoid?
passing vacuum from the EGR solenoid?
any harm done if ECM cannot control it? if i understood correctly, it's operated by vacuum and exhaust backpressure anyway.
i'm looking for constant EGR flow to cylinders so i'd be able to set base timing more advance, and probably engine would use less gasoline since it'll get less air and fuel while eating back exhaust gasses
mainly i'm worried:
- cold starts -> slower heating?
- decelaration -> engine stops?
- rough idle?
not worried WOT power since it's raining almost everyday and no there's traction anyway
what do you think? bad idea?
