Aftermarket manifold wont seal
Hey guys I have a TPIS Big mouth intake manifold and in the back, close to the tranny, i'm having a oil leak thats pretty nasty.
I have tried silicone as a gasket but it got blown out within ~2-3 months
Is there anything y'all have found that seals the manifold to the block better?

Re: Aftermarket manifold wont seal
what type of sealant have you used?
I have used black permatex on my intake installs instead of the rubber piece inc. with intake gasket sets and never had one leak on me yet.
Just made sure the block&intake were completely clean, put a small bead around the head side of the gaskets front&rear at the first and last intake ports, laid those in place then laid a nice fat 3/8" bead across the front and rear, set the intake on,tightened it down, and waited a few hours so I knew the sealant dried before starting
