TBI for TPI

I own a 91 RS with TBI and have a TPI setup from a z28. would it be worth swapping them and if so has anyone done it.

To answer your question, Yes, alot of people have done the swap, including myself, but I went from a 4bbl to TPI. You can read all about my adventures on my Website.

After the spash page, on the left side of my main menu about 1/2 way down go to "Modifying my Formula" from there you will find "TPI swap" I is kind of like a journal, so you can see how to do it. doing a TBI will be different, but similar, also I did a Firebird which will differ from a Camaro.

you need a TPI fuel pump. The TBi runs at a lower PSI than TPI, you have to swap in tank pumps to do so. Tpi is well worth it, torque and fuel milage definetly increase.
