How do I get the most sound out of my camaro?
Basically, i have a 92 camaro z28 w/ an L98, TPI, 25th anniv./heritage pkg. the works.
I'm not looking to spend more than a few hundred dollars. I have more knowledge on restoration of interiors rather than motors and body work. I just recently bought this car last May and love it to death. The only problem is that i'm not getting the sound out of it that I would like to. It has a flomaster exhaust and all but i'm still looking for that 70's muscle sound. Any advice?

headers and a gmmg exhaust will get the sound you want but it will probly be like 1500$ slp loud mouths are loud and raspy and dont really sound like a muscle car there just all out loud i had one for a year and took it off, but some good headers plus your flowmaster should sound pretty good

My thought exactly.
Or, you could cut a section of your I-pipe out and install a chambered tube like Orr89RocZ. Maybe this is the sound you're after? I think it sounds really good. Shouldn't be more than a couple hundred dollars either.

I would say headers, and a flowmaster. I love the sound of my car.
But the cam helps out a little

Headers will help out a lot to get a great sound out of your car, the sound your refeering too is more like a glass pack sound I am assuming.
On my 87 IROC(rip) I had a stock 99-02 camaro ss muffler on it and slp headers. Had a great raspy and throaty sound to it, louder than my force II on my Formula.
