name that connector

OK. I have the factory service manual for the donor car, but I have a TPI harness from a '85 firebird. I have a connector that has seven wires going to it: two dark orange, one light orange, one red, one blue, one black and white, and one black with tan. It is in the same vicinity as the ECM connectors and IP harness connector. I know the red and the blue wires are from the MAF, leading me to beleive( well this and the manual...seemingly) this is the burn off relay, but apparently it isn't because GM keeps giving me something that looks like the fuel pump relay when I order the part. I know one of you has to have an '85 TPI out there....please help!!! Thank you.

85 has a burnoff module, thats what the connector you have is for. I'd recommend rewiring or whatever to get around that, unless you are using an 85 ecm... in which case you might be better off getting a different ecm and wiring anyway.

OK. call me crazy here, but I don't think this connector goes to a burnoff box. The dealership told me there were two vins that year and that I might not have burnoff module. If you look at this picture:
http://www.ece.udel.edu/~davis/z28/e...0FTMmodule.jpg
you will find that this is the connector for the burnoff module...correct? My connection doesn't look anything like this. It looks like the connector on the far left of this picture:

This is the connector I am wondering about.

if its wo connectors like recyangle, it may plug into the inside dash harness, it should have 8 slots on on slide and seven on the other. 85 was its own mess, every other T/Pi is differentr from it

What I meant, was that the connector I am asking about it at the far left of this picture:

For some reason, the message editing doesn't want to be working.

That connector, the far left in the pic, is
the dashboard harness connector, forgive me if this is not the correct name, but that is the best way I can describe it. There should be a corrosponding connector under the dash near the ecm.
