no start over fueling

i got a 87 camaro wit a 350 tpi, it will not start, i got it to run a couple of times and i had raw fuel flying out the exhaust. also if i crank it, u can smell fuel around the intake, and smell it in the oil. yea its gettin over fueled real bad..... i changed the maf, and the comupter. fuel pressure regualtor is good. i dont know wat it could be. j/w if anyone had this problem, and if anyone can give me any suggestions on what could be happening....

Sounds like an injector is stuck open. Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, turn the key on for a couple seconds and then back off. The fuel pressure should hold if nothing it leaking.

I had that exact same problem back in 1996. I replaced the ECU with a new one but still had the flooding of fuel. It turns out the PROM was shorting out the ECU. Luckily, I was able to get the ECU under warranty and replaced the PROM with a new one. That did the trick. Did you replace the PROM along with the computer? You might short the new one if you just re-installed the old PROM.

yea i did put the old prom back..... ****. also my ses lite doesnt come on........ thats y i replaced the ecm. its no problem to replace it i just gotta get a new prom. i work at a napa, so gettin parts replaced aint a problem.
