Fan relay? (Vader, someone, anyone?)
Fan relay? (Vader, someone, anyone?)
Ive managed to get around this little problem by installing a fan switch...BUT:
WHERE in the nine hells is the relay that turns the fan on?
If I leave the switch off, the temp shoots on up and overheats.
And despite the 5 people who've gone looking, noone can figure out why or where the thing is.
Help!
Thanks in advance

On my '89 IROC they're located up near the battery on the passenger side...primary is against the crosspiece that ties the fenders together, and the 2ndry is near the pass. side fender.

When I wired my car over to TPI that is where my relays were too. Right side (Passenger side) In front of my airbox (have a firebird). If you take off the top of your Air cleaner asm, you should see both of them.
Get yoursef a service manual it will help lots. My Haynes has a copy of the GM map of where everything is.
