1.6 305

Cam's done, now im thinking of getting some 1.6 roller tip rockers. All I want to know is if anybody out there with a 305 has done this with enough clearance in the heads.

Thanks

If you already have an aftermarket cam you will see proably nothing for gains on a stock headed motor. Stock heads are way done flowing by .4-.45" lift so the extra from 1.6s won't do much for you, and the roller tips friction losses aren't worth the $$$ unless you have money to blow and everything else is done.

Well spose I better move on to headers then..

But my lift on the cam is in the .44 range, not even at .45 yet...

I had to be carefull with the cam, and im glad i was after what i found in my engine when i tore it apart...
