TPI/LT1 NOS plate system worries
I am running a 383 Chevy with a modified LT1 intake ported to twin 58mm
using a BBK power plus twin 58mm Throttle Body and 36# injectors. I have a plate style fuel injection setup that mounts between the Throttle body and Manifold. A wet system that shoots fuel and NOS into the intake.
............................1. 3...... 5..7
........................__l .ll. l___l. ll. l__
.................> H-l============= l REAR
.FRONT.... > H-l============= l
............................l. ll. l..... l. ll. l
.............................2..4...... 6..8
Standard Chevy Intake Pattern,
The 36# injectors are as usual at the cylinders just above each valve,
but the fuel from the injector bar has to move from the front all of the way to the back suspended in air. If there is even one low pressure spot between the front and rear, the suspended fuel will fall out of the moving air, since it is heavier than the NOS, and BOOM engine melt down.
I am of the opinion this could be a problem, or am I just over thinking this system?
