Hey all.

I own a 1986 IROC Camaro, 305 TPI "LB9".

3.23 in the rear end. I gutted the airbox, and tossed in a pair of K&N airfilters. My car seems to be happy lately, so i was wondering about things on the performance side of things again. I cannot find any information regarding the stock 1/4 mile times for my year/engine. Anyone have an rough estimate?

I have heard several mods suggestions, I was wondering which ones are really worth it. I know changing the the exhaust might gain a few horses, but then what about the intake? Is a TB airfoil really worth it?

i have the same car....

*Top speed = 142.0
*0-60 time = 7.3 seconds
*1/4 time = 15.5 @ 87.7 MPH

 

I had an 86 IROC-Z with 3.23 gears a while back. It had a Flowmaster Muffler, Xcat, Airfoil, , Gutted Airbox. The best I got it to run was a 15.1 on the 1/4.
