New best 1/4 time

My new best time is a 15.1 @ 90mph. I'm gettin there.. My best time last time was a 15.4. The only changes from then to now were, SFC, TB Bypass and Corvette Servo.

6-30-01
R/T = 1.293
60' = 2.230
330 = 6.389
1/8 = 9.785
MPH = 73.06
1000 = 12.679
1/4 = 15.164
MPH = 90.49

getting better... you are still missing 5MPH and are about .6 too slow... but better.

There has to be something wrong with you car. Are you running it a 5000ft above sea level or what. I think I remember one of your old posts asking why it was so slow.(I'm not here to dog your car out but rather help you figure out what's wrong so you don't get spanked by Rustangs anymore) I mentioned somewhere that I had an 86 IROC a few years ago that had a few simple bolt ons and ran a 15.1 in the 1/4. Just to give you an idea about the car, it had 3 anti-foul shrouds around some spark plugs and smoked all of the time. That's why I say after reading your list of mods something must be wrong.

I have been, trying anyway, to leave on the last yellow light. You know this is a 305 right? I am within a 1/2 second of a stock 350, 30th aniversary Camaro. I think my next mod is going to be Torqer Heads, What do you think? I read an article in Camaro Performance mag that they put these heads on a bone stock 305 and averaged 48 hp over stock heads.

Just got done installing the torqer heads along with a new cam, and my 305 hauls big time in the upper RPM. I havn't dynoed it yet but I'm expecting some good resaults.
