Re: maf to speed density

The reason I did it back when I had a stock ecm was so I could tune after where the mass air flow would have max'ed out its reading.

Difficulty? I had used my stock maf harness and repinned it to my new SD plug for the ecm. and used the maf wires re-wired to my map sensor.

Re: maf to speed density

to what i understand .. you just get rid of the mass air flow sensor ..

and you allready got a map sensor .. if not its easy enough to hook it up .. just a vacuum line ..

and then re-pin the wires for a SD ecu .. like the 730'

hope that helps ..

ive never done it .. but then again i got a 91 z28 thats allready sd ..

Re: maf to speed density

There's already a very good tech article. No need for a sticky.
