i also posted this on the drivetrain board but i thought ide post here cuz some of you may not look on the other board but know the answers to my questions

ok i'm about to have the money together to get my gears.
i have 3.08 and want 3.73
i have a couple questions
1) would that oem takoff carrier that slp sells (erik was talking about it its the one for the new ss camaro) work with my read differential housing?
2) would it work with my axels?
3) if it does work then i can just buy the gears that would work for a new ss correct?
i think thats it but i'll probably have more questions later.

SLP had the correct speedo gears for my A4, to go 3.73 call them, they should have the gears for your T5 as well.

 

I am pretty sure the carrier will fit fine, but the axles wont work unless someone changed your rear to a newer one.
