I don't think vortec heads will work with TPI's, but I think someone is working on a vortec TPI intake?

what you are speaking of is the miniram 3 it just came out and fits vortec style heads it's pricy but such is life i wouldn't bother wasting my time on the vortec heads they wont flow enough to feed a healthy 383 (bigger valves are not an option on them without cutting the guides,by the time your done porting polishing and putting bigger valves in the fastburns will be cheaper)motor go with the fastburn heads match it to the lt4 hot cam it'll scream it's head off...

I have read alot of posts referring to "matching" parts to your engine. HOW would you match the fastburn heads to the cam???

John

You are basically matching the power range for each given part.

Lke a tourqer cam with a miniram = stupid

If you've got some high flow heads it only makes sense to get a cam that pulls well at high rpms.
