V6 Wiring Harness
V6 Wiring Harness
I plan on swapping a Speed Density TPI into my 88 Iroc. I've heard about people adding in fuel injector plugs and lengthening the TPS/MAP wires to get their TBI setups to work, but then I've also heard of guy's using v6 wiring harnesses and adding in 2 extra injector wires along with swapping the ECM for a v6 and using a V8 memcal.
If I were to go this route, what other modifications (if any) would need to be done to the V6 harness? Since I'm using speed density, what V6's used speed density as well?

Re: V6 Wiring Harness
speed density systems were on all 90-92 tpi(v8's)and mpfi(v6's) I believe.
A v6 harness might work, but would take quite a bit of lengthening to work on a v8,theres a big difference as far as wiring harn. length goes.
You would have to add not only the inj. plugs for the v8 but also everything on the front of the eng. would have to be extended to make the all connectors from the harn. reach their appropriate places.
Hope that helps
