Hi, once again i'm asking for help for my friend and his 91 GTA 5.0 eng with 99,000km
700-r4 trans 2.77 rear and single exh
1. He wants to buy\order a prom for it
2. Car has had a cam change ( now surges at
idle) really has no more power)
3. Were are gains better made?
-start with ehx upgrades?
-with prom upgrades
-gear?
I hope that someone has better ideas than me
(he travels a lot and still wants good gas

If he hasnt already done it I would do a complete exhaust. Headers back. If he has the money SLP headers are nice or I have heard good things from Edelbrock and Hedman. I personally am going to get Edelbrock TES 1 5/8". Then a nice 3" cat back and a high flow cat like Random Tech or I have Catco and I like it so far (got me to pass emissions easily) Then you can move on to easy things like porting the Plenum and intake if you have the time. K&N air filter would be a easy thing to throw on there if it isnt. You could also move onto an AFPR Holley makes a good one you can adj it by hand or you can make your own. After market coil would be an easy thing I have a friend with MSD and I have Accel and we are happy with them. Just some easy things to help out the 305 I also need the help.
