Would a bad smog pump throw a code 32?

Minfroze up when I took it off my car awhile back but I broke it lose and put it back on. Now I'm thinking of replacing it but dont know if thats the problem. How do you tell if it is bad? Also would it give me a code 32?

The smog pump would have nothing to do with a trouble code from the ECM.
