Got my ZZ4 shortblock! ?? about rear main...

Picked my ZZ4 short block and it looks like the rear main and seal is quite a bit different than what I've seen before. Looks like its one piece instead of the upper and lower 2-pieces like yester-years blocks.
There are also 2 small threaded studs sticking up on each side of the rear main seal, will my oil pan off my '94 TBI engine fit on this?
I haven't looked at it as its still in the truck so I don't know if the pan has the provisions for the 2 studs or not. Just looks different from the last motor I built up 14 years ago.
Thanks

If the engine in the truck is the original everything will work just fine. They have been using the 1 piece rear main on everything since mid-year 1986.

Cool beans! Yep its the original, thanks long&low. Wished they would have used that on the 87' 3.8 turbo motors, maybe I would not have had so many rear main leaks on the GN

Seeing as how you are in the middle of the very same swap I am about to go through maybe? you could pass on some info of the finer points of the swap and how well that thing runs?

Hey Will, how's it been going? THis had better solve some of my problems That baby is only producing about 15psi of oil pressure right now, the rod bearings are fried from the detonation. I'll be putting in the ZZ4 cam along with a set of 64cc Sportsman200 angle plug heads that I've had ported and polished up, full roller tip/bearing rockers also. This baby should make some power when I get it together. I'm going to remove the EGR since I don't think that had anything to do with the problems before.
Long&low, it will probably be a month or two before I start removing the old motor and exchanging the remaining parts I need to make the new one complete, got wait till this heat cools off, working in 100 degree temps ain't fun down here. This is going in my truck, so it'll be a lot easier swap than in an f-body, and the gearing is a little different, but I'll keep an update posted on here as many folks have contributed/helped me out on here with questions in the past.
Thanks
