Miniram 327 combo?

I was planning on keeping the 48 mm throttle body, porting aluminum l98 heads, and using a 212/218 .485/.495 cam with 1.6 roller rockers with around 10.5:1 compression. Alot of people on this board said that a miniram 327 would be a match made in heaven... but Grumpy said i should consider a different intake combination. What do you guys think i should fun for # injectors? And is there anything you would change or add to this combo?

1991 Z28 305 5spd 1LE, TES headers, dual cats, 3 Chamber flowmaster, Comp cams .488/.495 212/218, 187 head castings with bigger valves, self-burned eproms.
All work done by myself, and proud of it!
SOON TO COME 327 Miniram (3/2002) PARTS NEEDED:Titanium valvetrain parts, stud girdles, fluidampnr, miniram, bulletproof bellhousing, MONEY(im in college).
Find a .bin on the internet and want it burned? I'll do it for you!

Sounds like a good combo, but you might as well step up the Throttle body to a 52mm because neither the 327 or the Mini ram was designed for low end power. BAsically what you will be building is a road race engine. All you hp witll be up from 3000rpm 6500 rpm. It would be best to couple this to a stick shift. You will not be posting great times at the drag strip but on a road course it will be **** loads of fun. Build it into a G machine and live it up! Definately something nobody else is building. You head selection is not the bes thoug, you want to go with a full roller vavletrain and a set of heads made for high rpm use. Just keep in mind where a 327 wants to make its power and build from there. A Mini Ram will work well, but only if everything else is in the right match also.

What about my T5 Tranny, centerforce Dual Friction clutch and rearend? I know its torq that breaks stuff, but could RPM do it too?

Well a rebuild might be in order, but it should withstand the high rpm use, I mean its not like you will be driving at 5000rpm all day its just where the most power will be built.
