TPI base, same for 305 vs 350?
I have a 305 & am getting an Ati Procharger...
Since I'll probably have to run bigger injectors, might as well swap in my tpis, LTR and ported Plenum too...
Will the TPIS intake match the 305 ports?
Same as 350?
Thanks,
Rafael

Re: TPI base, same for 305 vs 350?
yea they are the same. ports of the 305 and 350 are the same. only diff is the pisont size.
the TPI base was originally designed for the 305 not the 350 even tho they used it on the 350.
u will need larger injectors for the 305 with the procharger. id say 22-24lb depending on the boost and wat HP u'll be making. u really shoulding put on the aftermarket base/runners/plenum on at stock 305 with at procharger.... thats what too much intake and it will hurt performance. just throw on the supercharger for now. u will lose power wit the upgraded intake on a stock 305. put the intake on when u throw in heads and a cam.
the procharger will help the stock INtake breath. but u'll lose hp/tq with a highflow intake unless u run heads and a cam

Dam, If I gotta replace all that, might as well get a 383
I'm hoping to run low boost, maybe even low enough to use the FMU for now... and later (after I save some more money) get another bigger motor... I got the intake parts earlier cuz they will fit the new motor...

Look up the Lovell Factor.
RB racing has a calulator and Tmossporting.com tech article Determining Port Velocity and Volume
300 ft/sec - intake - * ideal ram
- exhaust - substantial scavenge
It has to do with .6 mach being a barrier in the intake port. too low of speed no ram or scavenge. too high and super sonic shock waves destroy flow.
It is a nice read.
BTW Callaway Twin Turbo came with stock tpi intake.
