Distributerless Ignition

Is it possible to switch to a distributerless ignition system from the current HEI we have in our 3rd gen and who makes the product?

Anything is possible, if you throw enough money at it.....

At one time, there was a company that made a DIS system for SBC. But, this was during the days of the carb. I have not seen one latley. But, my guess would be that someone out there makes it. After all, I have seen a single overhead cam conversion for SBC.....

There are several crank trigger type ignitions available from the aftermarket, but they're really expensive. May I ask why you would want to do away with the dist.?

88 IROC with cobbled together (not by me)drivetrain, 86 (?) TPI unit,CE subframe connectors, Edelbrock strut tower brace, polygraphite bushings all around...it handles like a dream, but man is it hard to push!!
