how does the tpi go together?

well, as a few know, im putting my engine back together, and i took my who plenum apart so i could clean everything and do a little porting.... and in the process, i forgot where everything goes...

if someone has a blowup of the tpi assembly, or could take pictures of where everything goes, i would really apreciate it..

thanx

There are only four pieces of intake, besides plastic. Not too tough.. The only thing I would think that may be hard is the vacuum lines, which only fit on a certain way.. What exactly do you need?

Just make sure you got the runners on the correct side. With the Plenum facing forward you will see that the front sides of the Plenum angle down. Mock up the runners on the plenum first. The angles on the runners should match the angle on the Plenum or it won't work. Other than that, remember the two backwards facing bolts on the runner to intake. Also remember to run the TV cable under the plenum, inside the runners. It's hard to fish it through after you assemble everything.

Those pages look suspiciously like the Chilton's manual for 82-92 Camaros . . .

Ok, lets blame that brain lapse on lack of good coffee in the morning. Try the Helms manual.

Hmm, is it me or is the Right runner and right exhaust manifold missing in that picture. It looks just like the picture in my 82-92 parts & illustration guide.

Um, no. That's the very rare but prized TPI/ AA 4/8 engine, with the spoecial tuned port/atmospherically aspirated combination induction system. They are VERY nice. Yeah, That's the ticket...

Incidentally, nice job on the conversion of the Helms drawings. I'll bet that kept you up for a few hours.
