increasing horespower

i have an 85 iroc with a 350 tpi motor in it. i have a budget of about $2000 at the moment and i wanted to know what i could do to get the most horespower out of it for that amount. i know for that amount of money its not going to be a whole hell of a lot but its better than nothing.

Re: increasing horespower

Well the keys to any engine and more HP is air in/air out. I'd start w/ headers/exhaust, aftermarket TPI parts such as Edlebrock, SLP Siamesed runners, Big Mouth runners etc or something like the Stealth Ram... then get a tune from somewhere whether you buy the parts and do it, or have a mail order tune done. You SHOULD be able to get all that stuff for about $2k. Just depends on what you get really. Start researching parts such as aftermarket TPI parts, exhaust etc and price out what you want to get and how much it costs... then...
