tbi to tpi
ok have a 90tbi set up stock this guy is selling a 90 l98 corvette tpi system he said it would fit. To do this how much would it cost to swap all the wires and stuff.
Would it be worth it?
How much hp would it give me?
thanks

That is an excellent question that no ones going to be able to give you an accurate answer to. What would be really cool is if you do this and dyno it before and after. It would answer definatetively this question forever. You could be a hero...o.k. that's probably pushing it but it would be nice to know.

Re: tbi to tpi
Its just a TPI swap and like any other swap you will have to repin several connectors to match the TPI harness or simply swap the engine and dash harnesses

The Corvette fuel rails exit to the passenger side while the f-body go to the drive's side. You'll have a problem there.
My dad Dyno Don did the TBI to TPI swap and dynoed before and after. It went from 158 RWHP to 176 RWHP, and 220 TQ to 290 TQ. We've posted it all over these boards so I'm surprised you havent found it.

Cool, and no, Ive never seen it. Now when you say your dad is Dyno Don, do you mean Dyno Don Nicolson(spelling?) or someone who's nickname is Dyno Don.

Re: tbi to tpi
Doesnt the vette setup also have an external EGR system, while the camaros is "internal"?
Vettes harness will be totally different.
