350 TBI to TPI Conversion
350 TBI to TPI Conversion
Hello ThirdGen.
There is a wealth of information on this site, but I had one question I need answered.
I was interested in converting from TBI to TPI on my 91 Chevy Truck.
What would be the easiest/cheapest way to convert to tpi and what would be the advantages of one system over another?
Edelbrock has a kit that will work with my ECM but it is kinda pricey.
Any ideas will be appreciated and thought over.
Thanks
Matt

Well I see that you want to install it on a Truck, well, to get an idea what you need to do, visit http://www.usol.com/~okfoz/modificat...conversion.htm this is direct to my journal. If you REALLY want to pack a punch go with an LT1 or better yet LS1.
I went to TPI for the experience factor. Doing a truck will, for obvious reasons, be different than my conversion, but it might give you some insight.
