water temp sensor in the head....

water temp sensor in the head....

that has a little green wire connecting it right? i have no holes in my head so i had to put it in my water pump as there are no holes in the block either just want to make sure i have the right wire. and is it ok to lengthen the wire?

For the gauge on the dash...
The wire on mine is green. I think the intake would be a better spot if you have an open hole there.
