I keep running out of gas!!

alright i think my fuel pump may be acting up. it doesnt make sense since it's only about 3-4 months old. last one died instantly. we replaced the fuel filter and today i bought a new Fuel pump relay and the car still ran out of gas (power steering goes and i glide to a halt). the car will start up right after usually the first try. any ideas?? i dont know what's going on. i did all that because i got a code 54...help? could my code 33 problems be causing this too?? i went to get two more relays for the MAF but they were out of stock, plus they charged me 13$ for one!! unfortunatly my car doesnt take the 5.99 relay..... Help?

It could be the Oil pressure sending unit sending a bad signal to the fuel pump. This sensor turns off the fuel pump if it senses low/no oil pressure..it could be malfunctioning.. just a thought.

Clean the connection at the relay really good. Mine was so gunked up I didn't notice a couple of the wires were almost frayed through.
