Best Heads/Cam setup for SuperRam???
Best Heads/Cam setup for SuperRam???
Well, I'm replacing my cam, heads, and intake over the winter. I'm probably going to get the SuperRam. But what about heads and a cam? What combo works good? I know people have gotten into the 12s naturally aspirated on TPI before, and that's where I wanna be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

CNC'd L98's or AFR 190's would be my choice if I had the cash. I would stay away from the 210's unless you have at least a 383.

I got the AFR 190's and LPE 219 cam. I figured Lingenfelter could probably grind the best cam for his own intake. Someone posted some dyno figures a few weeks ago on different cams w/ the SR and the LPE 219 did the best, although the was one or two other cams that came close.

AFR 220s are definitely too large for a 350 superram. Your port velocities will be far too low, not to mention possible intake/head mismatch.
I'm building an AFR190 LPE219 SuperRam motor right now; I'll give you my opinion on how it runs just as soon as I'm done
I've even seen recommendations to use the new 180cc heads from AFR for port elocity reasons.
