I just finished putting in the TPI system in my 86 camaro that was carb.

any how I got it all started up today but the check engin light is staying on

so i turn the ign on and jumper the pins on the aldl

the check engine light flashes 12 (No reference pulses to ECM ) correct?

what does this mean?

 

A code 12 is pulled everytime you do that. If that is the only code you shouldn't have a check engine light.

does it flash one code then another


it just keep flashine 12


also if the car is running it just flashes continuosly i this normal?


forgive my ignorance this i my firs experience with this (TPI THAT IS)

do you have MAF( mass air flow )? Cause I think thats the code for MAF

 

Yea
but I got it fixed last night

it was the analog ground pin "B" it was pushed back in the connector
