how long can i keep a bad cts...

just wondering, before i replace a bad coolant temp. sensor, how long can i drive with a bad cts before causing any more troubles? and what troubles if i did drive for 1500 miles going north?

it is easy to replace so just do it. your engine will run alot more efficiently and you won't have to worry about it.
