need vacume line help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im doing my EGR and i have some vacume lines that i have no idea where they go. There is a vacume port or distributor (not sure whaat to call it) on the passenger side of the engine right behind the last injector on that side. it has 2 vacume lines comming off of it. the back line is the shorter one and it goes to the EGR. the front line is much longer and it was not hooked to anything when i pulled the plenum. there was also a rubber T with a short piece of vacume line that has a 90 degree bend in it sitting on the top of intake, just laying there. any idea where these go to???? please help. thanks a ton

The longer vacuum line from the 2 port fitting near the back of the motor connects to a vacuum port on the bottom of the throttle body. The other line laying on top of the motor sounds like the line that goes from the plenum next to the big vacuum port to the fuel pressure regulator if i remember my T/A correctly.

Hey man,
That's the EGR soleniod you are talking about. That should go under the plenum, to a T on a fitting on the bottom of the Throttle body, and over to the canister. Here's a link with the complete vaccum lines diagram:
http://www.chevythunder.com/fuel%20i...um%20lines.htm
That should show you what I am talking about, good luck! If you still need some help post back or better to email me as I can get forgetful at checking back.

While we're on the subject, what do the guys that run breathers do - do they just remove the connections to the TB and/or PCV valve...? I've always wondered.
thanks,

Ken
