AFR heads and LT4 Hot Cam
I am looking at bying a set of AFR 190 heads, they come completewith Hydrolic valve spprings, 120 lbs. on seat, .550" maximum lift. My question is if I buy the LT4 hot cam do I need to buy the LT4 springs or can I use the springs on the AFR heads. I just want everything to match up and I don't want to spend money that I don't need too. Is anybody running this combination ? Thanks for the help.

If I remember correctly...the lift on the LT4 cam (you have to use 1.6 rockers) is like .525"......and the max lift of the AFR Heads is like .550 or something like that. So yes it will work without new springs.
