Hi!
Were are the limit for my 52mm trottle body?
Will i gain anything by swapping in a 58mm?
The car making arround 370fwhp.

Keep the 52. Thats what I am using. Unless your going to make 600 hp or a power adder, keep the 52 and save yourself some money

Another point of view as posted on another thread. One I agree with by the way.
"Also having a 383 HSR I can tell you that I went from a BBK 58mm throttle body to the Accel 1000 CFM throttle body. My tuner and I got bored threw it on there just to see what would happen. It resulted in 10 rwhp and 10 more ft lbs of torque to the wheels. My throttle response also went up. I would recommend getting an aftermarket TB and go at least 58mm."
Bottom line is you won't lose anything but you stand a chance to gain some horsepower. Also you are ready to go for future mods.

Get a good vacuum gauge, if you have no readable vacuum, in the plenum at WOT, then it is doubtful more is better. Scan/read your map, can you get close to 100 kpa? There is also restriction in the air cleaner/intake system, so look there. Everything has to be matched/bigger for best results.




You have a long way to go before you would need a 58mm
