CC of stock LB9 Heads

Posted below on what heads for a 305, most seem to be made for a 350. What is the cc of the stock LB9 heads. The World Product ones that were suggested are 58 cc.

I am trying to calculate what the CR would be after they were installed. The stock CR for my engine shows to be 9.3:1 from the tech data section.

Thanks in advance.

Yep, they're right. I have one of my old 305 heads off and they chambers sure look a good bit smaller than the typical SBC head. Looks like your CR won't change with the WP Torquer 305 heads (assuming that's the one they had suggested).

The 305 and 350 heads have the same chamber, just different size valves. Both are 58cc event the vette aluminum heads are 58cc.

S/R torquers are I have heard the cheapest and best aftermarket head.

IMO
cheap+goodflow>expensive+goodflow

Honda engines ROCK, I have one on my lawn mower but I still have to push it.

So what is the concensus?? Are the 305 heads 58CC stock or 64CC stock? Just doing some rough calculations, if they are 64 cc (assuming .050" for head gaskets) and flat tops (???) if the stock CR is 9.3:1, moving to a 58CC will bump CR to 10.4:1.

A pair of the world products SR Torquer heads assembled are going to be right at $750-$800. With a good exhaust (SLP 3" catback now and SLP 1 5/8" headers in the future) and siamesed TPI setup, will there be a noticible difference in performance? Any ideas on a descent cam for this setup??

TIA
