T-rams were made by slp for the 91=92 firebird firehawks and vary few were made from what I understand. They are increatiable intakes. That is all that I know.

The molds for the cast intakes were destroyed in a fire a few years back. Consider yourself lucky if you happen to score a T-ram for a good price. They are very scarce. I've never seen/heard of a radical combination topped off w/ a T-ram. Does anyone have such a combination?

from what i heard the t-ram was designed for the 2 pulse harmonics of the original ltr design.for real hp numbers IMO it wouldn' flow enough to support a lot of hp or cu.in..i'm just going by slp's info on the orig. firehawk. the ruunner length from entry to valve seat on a tpi unit is roughly 25in. i believe it is aroun 16 on the t-ram.from what i can decipher it looks like the standard efi for big blocks that accel sells with a larger plenum area(the two extensions on each side of the main plenum).if you want one for looks make your own buy a holley pro ram intake and make a sheet metal plenum for it.

can someone post some pics of it? I don't understand if the molds were destroyed then why not have another mold made?

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames,
T-56 almost ready to go in, TPI swap coming up

Wifes new car:

95Z28, AT, leather, T-tops bone stock for now.

future mods:
header to tailpipe replacement and a cold air intake. Then I am just going to leave it alone

I picked mine up from summitt in 1995 with all the hardwhare to retro fit to an auto tranny. My car in it's current configuration is running 13.20s @ 103 mph. Information is hard to come by but I do know that Ryan Falconer Enginering disigned it for SLP. The engine on the stand pictured in Micheal Leclerc's web site is the one I put in my IROC. I have heard that this intake will not support high HP #'s but usually the people saying this have never seen one in person let-alone flow tested one. Basically the lower manifold is the same as a tunnel ram and the upper rolls the intake runner towards the cars fenders, that is what the side tanks are for, they link the runners to the upper plenum.

The intake runners are about 11" long, just a couple "'s longer than an LS1's. Maybe SLP was on to something.
