In 2 weeks im about to install my modded 305 TPI, w/ t-5 tranny. I was given a price way back from my friends shop $2,000 for putting motor together,installing, motor,taking out old, and installing t-5 tranny in place of 700r4 tranny. As of now i have put the motor together myself, besides the wiring, The shop charges $50.00 an hour of labor, but since im a friend hes charging me $40.00 an hour of labor, My question is this, How many hours would it take to take out the 3.1 6cyl.700r4,and install the 305 TPI,wiring and computer,t-5 tranny,and Change fuel pump? The mechanic is well qualified to do the work.

 

I was charged 18 hrs for complete swap.

 

What did the swap include???????????
