Old style HEI into 88 harness?
What do I need to do to swap an older style HEI distributor (coil under cap) into my 88 TPI harness. Can it just be spliced into the harness? If so what needs to be done?

I think painless wiring or howell engineering sells an adapter already made up.

I have an 86 harness that I can use. Is there anyway I can just cut and splice stuff together to get the distributor to work? If so can somebody please give me the details on how to do it?
