Blown fuel line, GAS+ EXHUAST=BIG FIRE BALL.

I had a little accident yesterday, I had one of the rubber fuel lines under the hood pop on me. Here is a sipmle equation for you GAS + EXHUAST MANIFOLD=BIG FIRE. The fire didnt do alot of damage just melted a little plastic, but the two hi pressure rubber fuel lines are toast. Has any one had to replace theese if so were did you get them, what is there part #, and how much?

The dealerships will also have nothing for you. GM discontinued the high pressure feed line but about 2 months ago I was still able to get the return line. You will have to have one specially made for you or find one at a junkyard, TPI,TBI they both work. My feed line was from a 88 Camaro with TBI, it worked just fine.

I found that out today. Why would they make the one that has less pressure and less likely to brake?

CAP (consumer auto parts) sells high pressure fuel line (good for like 300lbs) and clamps..

A lot of the import shops around mine use it for their v-tec setups.

You can also use ntp fittings and good steel
line.
