swap out TPI 305 ??

I'm thinking of changing out my 305 TPI to a 350TPI or something with more cubic inches. What do you guys think I'm not going to race it just want a fast street car. Nothing crazy. Thanks

When my 305 gives up I'm going to put in a salvage 4th Gen LT1 or LS1. Check the link below. LT1's for about $2500.00. The car will be very driveable and the late model performance upgrades are numerous.

Here in the next few months i will be sticking a 350 under my TPI setup, similar to a ZZ4 crate, hopeing to produce 320Hp & 400 TQ, so far i am looking at buying the 350 block, World heads, ZZ-9 Cam, Headers, Yank Torque Converter ST2500, Streetfighter 700R4 Trans(more wanting a 5-speed though), 3.42 Gears, and of course the rest of the pieces to the engine puzzle. I still have a lot of research to do to tune it to my goal.

It's not that hard to make a 305 run strong,, it more depends on your dedication to them. I chose keeping mine because it still gets 36mpg on the highway w/o the body being totally assemble & was before, is even more now, quite a strong runner. From what I understand though, is the Formula 305 TPI 5speeds got the 350's cam making them a stonger runner to begin with. End decision is up to you though.
