Very bad gas question....

So, my dad decided he didn't want to put gas in my tank (I left it home this semester and asked him to drive it once ina while for me), so when it was running REALLY empty, he dumped in a few gallons from a gas can in the garage. At best, this gas was 6 months to 3 years old, and possibly mixed with 2 cycle oil. Runs like crap, and hard to keep going now.

The plan is a few tanks of high octane and some injector cleaner, and a lot of praying. Any other ideas?

I noticed that with all the crap they add for emmissions that gas seems to go bad faster. Get a hose and siphon out as much as you can and then fill it up with premium.
Next tank pour in some injector cleaner.

If you didn't drain it the best you could...should have, but run about a half-tank of premium thru it and then fill up again. Repeat. That will help dilute the mixture faster. After 3 tankfulls, change your in-line gas filter, clean your intake and you should be OK.
