Idle question...
Idle question...
I needed a new fu;le pump, so I got one and my idle is still at about 550 to 600 rpm, how do I get it to about 700-750?

Tell your computer to idle at the higher speed. To do this, you need to burn your own chip. See Traxion's article at the top of the DIY_PROM board on how to do this.

My first question is why? But here goes. On the back of the throttle body there is a screw that controls the postion of the throttle blades. Sometimes there is a cap on top of the recess in the throttle body where the screw is contained. Try tightening it once it is warmed up.
And then the IAC will just bring the idle back down to 550RPM and your TPS may be out of whack.
Greg is right, learn to burn your own PROMs or have someone do it for you. Having tried both ways, the PROM way is the only way to go.
