O2 Sensor sharing
The O2 sensor on our cars are resistor-based right? So they cannot be shared between
two gauges, correct?

The O2 sensors produce a voltage rather than create a resistance.
So, as long as your devices don't put a signifigant load on the O2 sensors, it should not interfere with the computer's readings.
I built my own O2 sensor a while back. Make sure you have a GREAT ground for you O2 sensor. I found that the ground on most automobiles are junk. I recall being able to turn my head lights on and off and make the O2 sensor jump.
The only way I got the ground fixed, was the run it right from the battery.
Just my 2 cents.
Mark.
