Just curious, cause im sort of in a bind as of now

I'm gonna Yes since the sensors are all the same (except for the deletion of the cold-start injector in '89). And, since you can run '89 code in an '87 or '88 F-body, then the sensors must report back to the same pins (or wherever) in the computer.

The ECM's are the same.

I think the PROM is different. 89 uses ARAP right?

Right, well, not from the factory, but it's what most of us MAF guys are using. Any PROM from any '86-89 TPI F-body will work in any '86-89 TPI F-body, although it helps if they're for the right combination (engine, tranny etc.) or programmed for the particular combination.

If you're going to use the '89 harness, you need to use an '89 PROM because there's no cold-start injector.

well i think i was screwed cause if the harness was an 89' there wouldnt be a harness for the cold start injector and there is, so the harness must be an 87-88' besides all of the relays that i bought from stores were rectangular instead of the ovals which where given in 89'.
