Gaskets

Any opinions on gaskets for Edelbrock base and runners? I tried theirs and wasn't impressed.

Try a set of the LPE/Mr Gasket TPI gaskets. You can get them from http://www.lingenfelter.com . Where the Edelbrock gaskets paper or the crush ring style with metal in the middle?

They had the metal ring, but looked real old too. Thanks and sorry for the delay in answering.
