Emissions, what do i keep.
Hi, i`m in the process of cleaning up the motor in my `91 z28 TPI 350. I live in Florida so I don`t have to go for emissions testing. Can I get rid of the smog pump,charcoal canister and is there any other bits I can take off and in doing so, what convertions will I have to do with the wireing. In other words, what don`t I need and what is the process to be rid of them.

I would dump everything except for the charcol cannister. I've already ditched the smog pump on my 91', and will be getting rid of the the rest when I install my headers.

Florida is getting emissions testing real soon. You should keep all of it on, as its all required by federal law and your inspections are going to look for it.
