C5 Corvette Engine Cover on a TPI Engine?

Just wondering if anyone has tried to use one of these on a TPI or SuperRam car to cover up all the wires and junk that makes thirdgen engine bays look messy. I seeem to remember an LT1 Z28 that these on there (pretty sure they modified it to fit...not drop in an LS1) Just wondering if anyone thought it would work...or something along those lines. Also...I think Mojo or something had an 85 corvette with a superram...and the lid was smooth (didnt have the lines in it). Any ideas how that is done?

Transmission: I dont keep them long.
well if it would work it would be simple to repaint them or finish them with what ever.
im interested myself if they would fit cause it would clean up everything....
